Fairy dust artist Anita Clark has over 12 years experience,
and has met and worked with all the best face painters in
the area.
So if you need more than one painter for your event,
you can feel confident that she will be able to find the
best
artists for your function.
Anita has competed in world wide and UK competitions,
recently winning 2nd prize in the FACE childrens lit
award,
and 1st prize in the Snazaroo snake competition.
She is a Level 2 (Advanced) member of FACE, the Face
Painting Association and carries Full Public Liability Insurance.
Anita also has a degree in illustration, and is a working
artist.
This means that she can paint (almost) anything onto any
little
(or big!) face. Just as well, with some of the crazy things
that
childrens imaginations come up with!

All
face paints are non toxic and hypo-allergenic.
Younger children being painted for the first time are recommended
not to have their faces painted in case of sensitivity to
face paint.
In these circumstances hand painting will be offered as
an alternative,
which is great for little ones because they can look at
the design
throughout the day. Please also be aware that children under
2 years of age are considered to be too young for face painting.
However, there is no maximum age for face painting!
For the very best quality faces, one hour is recommended
for every
10 children being painted. If there are less than 10 children
to paint
in an hour, it may be that there is time to paint their
hands/arms
as well as their faces. For instance, girls might like to
have a bracelet
(complete with stick on jewel) painted to match their face
design,
whilst boys might like a dragon or tiger painted on their
arm.
It is possible to paint more than 10 children in an hour,
but overall
quality of the designs may be affected slightly.

I wanted to drop you a line to
say thank
you again for making Maddys birthday
party such a special occasion.
The face painting you did for Maddy
and her friends was really outstanding,
every child (and parent) was thrilled.
Not only were the designs extremely
inventive and individual, but your gentle
manner with the children coaxed even the
most nervous and reluctant to participate.
You are obviously a very talented woman.
Catherine Ryan, Maddies mum
